Russell Simmons Reconciling with Daughter?

In the midst of their family conflict, Russell Simmons appears to have tried to reach out to his daughter Ming. The former music mogul published what critics are describing as an old video of himself and Ming during a happier time on Instagram on Monday (August 14). Russell Simmons captioned the video, “When Times are tough smile and breathe keep your head up yogis. Gods got you again like he had u last time.” On Father’s Day in June, the co-founder of Def Jam engaged in a major internet brawl with his daughters and ex-wife Kimora Lee. A family squabble started when he objected to his oldest daughter Ming wishing Kimora a Happy Father’s Day on Instagram. Why is it a bad idea to expose your parents on social media?
