Even though Tupac passed away in 1996, his music still gets a lot of airplay and continues to appear on the Billboard 200 chart.

“Greatest Hits,” the late West Coast rapper’s 1998 compilation, lasted 450 weeks on the Billboard 200. Top-selling music projects rank it #94.

The fourth-longest-charting rap album of all time is Tupac’s Greatest Hits. Only Drake’s Take Care (508), Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (526), and Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits are ahead of the Death Row Records/Interscope Records/Amaru Entertainment release.

Tupac died on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25. He had completed 11 studio albums and seven films, and two appearances on television before his death.
