A new Facebook survey finds black women have been hit hardest by pandemic. COO Sheryl Sandberg’s non-profit organization, Lean In, shows that black women are the hardest hit financially by the current pandemic. The survey said, black women were twice as likely as white men to say they had been laid off, furloughed or had their hours or pay reduced  due to pandemic. The survey also stated, black women were three times as likely as white men to say they wouldn’t be able to pay for basic necessities for more than a month if they lost their income. Sheryl Sandberg said in a statement, inequality is very real and it’s been very real for a really long time. Anytime systems get put under pressure, their’s a crisis.
