Atlanta’s Former Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms Headed To The White House

After previously being considered to be President Joe Biden’s running mate in the 2020 presidential election, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms will be joining the Biden administration anyway.

White House officials announced Wednesday that Bottoms will serve as the Senior Advisor for Public Engagement to help bring diverse perspectives to the administration.

Bottoms, who was the mayor of Atlanta from 2018 to 2022, did not run for reelection and has been a political commentator for CNN.
