Basketball legend Magic Johnson pledges $100M to help minority businesses

Magic Johnson is stepping up to help out minority-owned businesses struggling during the pandemic.

The Hall of Famer is offering $100 million in loans to businesses that were shut out of the federal government’s PPP loan program.

Magic said these businesses “have been the pillar of our community, that also employ a lot of black and brown people in our community”.
