Best Buy Recalls Dangerous Air Fryers
Best Buy is recalling 287,000 air fryers that can overheat and cause a fire risk.
The air fryers can overheat, causing the handles to melt or break, posing fire and burn hazards… Additionally, the air fryer ovens can overheat and the glass on the door can shatter, posing fire, burn and laceration hazards.
The CPSC recall applies to six different models of Insignia Air Fryers and Air Fryer Ovens.

The fryers were sold between November 2021 and November 2023. Consumers can visit Best Buy’s recall page for information on how to get a refund.
