On Sunday when you logged in you saw a detailed letter from Beyonce to the Kentucky Attorney General regarding Breonna Taylor’s case. She points out that it has been three months since Breonna died and the police officers who shot and killed her on an incorrect no-knock warrant are still employed by the police department. Beyonce outlined three things she as well as the public are demanding. 1. Bring criminal charges against the three police officers. 2. Commit to transparency in the investigation and prosecution of the three officers. 3. Investigate the response as well as the practices that led to Breonna’s death and the repeated deaths of unarmed Black citizens. She closed the letter by saying, the next three months can not look like the last three months. Many have complained about the lack of movement and justice in the Breonna Taylor case.
