Beyonce’s Homecoming Documentary Snubbed at the Emmy’s

Beyonce’s ‘Homecoming’ Documentary Snubbed by Emmy’s The 71st Emmy Awards kicked off Saturday night with night one of two for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Beyonce, who was nominated in few categories for her Homecoming Netflix special did not win one award. She was nominated for, outstanding variety special, outstanding costumes, outstanding directing for a variety special, outstanding music director, outstanding production design for a variety special, outstanding writing for a variety special. In the outstanding variety special category, Homecoming lost to Carpool Karaoke featuring Paul McCartney. In the outstanding costumes category Homecoming lost to RuPaul’s Drag Race. Social media was in an uproar with some claiming it was racism.  Do you think some people like the Grammy’s and the Emmy’s don’t care for Beyonce because she doesn’t ‘play the game’ by attending and mingling at functions where voters hang out?
