Cedric the Entertainer and DeVon Franklin to Produce the Sequel to ‘Johnson Family Vacation’ Cedric the Entertainer and DeVon Franklin are set to produce the sequel to the Johnson Family Vacation. The 2004 film starred Cedric, Vanessa Williams, Steve Harvey, Solange, Bow Wow and more. The movie will pick up nearly two decades after the first one. Cedric said, we believe you’re gonna laugh, love and truly appreciate what we are calling ‘Johnson Family Celebration.’ The 2004 film made $31.5 million at the box office.
