DMC Of RUN DMC Says “It’s Over!”

Run DMC is currently working on a documentary and planning their last show at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Recently Daryl “DMC” McDaniels stopped by LL Cool J’s Rock The Bells Radio and said that even though he and “Run” are getting along, the group is disbanding after 1 final show this year! The group disbanded after Jam Master Jay’s untimely death, and have had a few performances since, but it is time for them to move on! Here’s what DMC said, “Run-D.M.C. is over. The only way Run-D.M.C. gets back together is if The Beatles get back together. Can that happen? “The final show that we are ever going to do is going to be at Madison Square Garden in April,” McDaniels reveals. “It’s going to be the last episode of the documentary we’re doing. Run-D.M.C.’s last show ever. ‘Cause it’s time for Run to go be Paul McCartney and me to be John Lennon. We done did what we could do.”  This will be sad to see, but historic in the fact that this year marks “Hip Hop 50,” honoring the 50th birthday of hip-hop and it’s growth that has changed the world! Run DMC may not be performing together as a group after this, but Run DMC is arguably the BEST HIP HOP GROUP OF ALL TIME!
