Facebook Tightens Rules For Political Advertising Facebook is tightening its rules for political advertising as the 2020 presidential election draws closer. Organizations that buy political ads will be required to post their contact information and show their FEC credentials to earn a “confirmed organization” label. Advertisers have until mid-October to comply with the new rules or their ads will be cut off. Will these rules help keep deceptive advertising off Facebook?
