Former Kentucky State Representative Darryl T. Owens Dead At 84

This is sad news! Former State Representative and County Commissioner Darryl T. Owens has died after battling a longtime illness.

Mr. Owens passed away Tuesday at his home surrounded by family. He was 84 years old.

Owens was the first African American elected to the Jefferson County Fiscal Court where he served for 21 years.
