Gas Station Manager Fired For Setting Pumps To .69 Cents

Why couldn’t we get soo lucky around here?! LOL~ A manager of a Northern California gas station says that he was fired from his job after accidentally setting the price for gas to 69 cents.

The pump price sat at 69 cents for three hours, causing the Shell station to lose a reported $16 thousand.

The former manager told local news that he accidentally misplaced a decimal when trying to set the price of premium gas at $6.99 per gallon.

According to one customer, “I started looking around … and everybody had a big smile and they kinda were not looking at you in your eyes.”
