In That’ll Learn Ya News… Convicted Killer And Former Minnesota Police Officer Derek Chauvin was sentenced to more prison time on Thursday.

Chauvin received a 21-year sentence for violating George Floyd’s civil rights during the fateful May 2020 arrest, when he kneeled on Floyd’s neck for more than 9 minutes.

Chauvin is already serving a 22.5-year sentence after he was convicted of murder and manslaughter last year. The federal sentence will be served concurrently.

Three other former Minneapolis officers were also convicted of violating Floyd’s civil rights and are currently awaiting sentencing.
