National Geographic channel has just concluded its four day mini series/bio pic, about the life times and career of the late great “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin, starring Academy-Award Nominee Cynthia Erivo. Who had an excellent job I might add, especially when it came to the sing performances. After all, she is imitating perhaps the greatest voice of all times…. But unfortunately Aretha’s immediate family is boycotting the project. Do to a lack of input primarily…. Which is understandable in my opinion. Do you feel its appropriate for Artetha’s family to boycott the project do to lack of input, even if the film was done well, and historically accurate?
