Man Calls Cops Asking For Pot To Be Returned Even though the Cincinnati City Council decriminalized recreational marijuana, that doesn’t make it legal in the state of Ohio. Something one toker has recently learned. After getting called to a hotel last week for a noise complaint, cops in Sharonville seized a man’s stash. Perhaps confused over the law, he phoned up the police asking for them to return his “expletive” weed, noting the amount was well under what’s allowed. Sharing the call to their Facebook page, the department joked, “People may be a bit in the weeds, so we would like to take this opportunity to clear the haze,” adding, “To be blunt, recreational marijuana is still ILLEGAL… per our STATE law.
