Justin Timberlake to Receive Songwriters Hall of Fame’s ‘Contemporary Icon’ Award

Justin Timberlake will receive the Contemporary Icon Award at the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame 50th annual induction gala.
The induction is on June 13th in New York City.
The award recognizes a songwriter-artist who has attained an iconic status in pop culture.
Hall of Fame Chairman, Nile Rodgers of Chic said, like Michael Jackson and George Michael before him he’s turned pop music into great art and made 3 or 4 of the most influential albums of the last 15 years.
Other inductees that night include; Missy Elliott, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), John Prine, Dallas Austin, Tom T. Hall and Jack Tempchin.
