Kelis Says Her Beyonce Uproar Hit the Target – Pharrell

Beyonce obliged Kelis and removed her album credit and interpolation from her new album Renaissance.

Depending if you are a glass half full or half empty kind of person will determine how you view the gesture from Beyonce. Fans hopped in the comments to attack Kelis.  A thread started with, Beyonce removed your 3 second sample from her song & it made no difference. I hope Solange catches you in an elevator. Someone wrote in response, well it did make a difference, Pharrell’s credit is gone = no more coins from that song.

Kelis responded to the first person, it made a huge difference and to the second person she wrote, perfect.

Was Beyonce being petty or being nice? Was this a smart business move on Kelis’ part?
