Keyshia Cole Says It Was “Hurtful” O.T. Genasis Didn’t Reach Out Before “Never Knew” In case you missed it, Keyshia Cole and rapper, O.T. Genasis have been embroiled in beef over her debut song, “Love (Never Knew)” O.T. covered the song, however, he changed the lyrics to pay homage to his crip affiliation. The song was removed from YouTube, which O.T. vented about on social media, Keyshia, who isn’t a fan of the song, also threatened to have the song removed from iTunes.  Keyshia has since taken it a step further by going on television to discuss the situation. Asking a panel if she was wrong for not wanting her “classics to be left alone.” Other artists have covered the songs, such as Trey Songz and Bruno Mars, which Keyshia didn’t have a problem with since they didn’t change the lyrics. O.T. posted the video of Keyshia’s television interview with the caption: “Damn Keyshia, It’s like that?” Do you think Keyshia was wrong for not allowing O.T. Genasis to cover the song?
