Did You Catch This Ultimate Throwback In Missy Elliot’s VMAs Performance? Missy Elliott was honored at last night’s VMAs with the 2019 Video Vanguard Award, previously named after Michael Jackson.  The hip-hop icon took the stage to perform a medley of her most popular songs while recreating the most memorable video moments of her career, this also included an iconic dancer.  26-year-old, Alyson Stoner hit the stage, you’ll remember her as the cute kid who wore pigtails in many of Missy’s video, including “Work It.” Stoner gave the audience her signature dance moves from the “Work It” video.
