More Covid-19 Testing Sites Open In Shively

In downtown Louisville, Pearl Diagnostic Laboratory has teamed up with the friends at Galen College of Nursing for a testing center at 707 South Third Street that started on Monday, Jan. 24th.

The site will offer a variety of testing options such as the nasal, oral and the Yale School of Public Health SalivaDirect PCR tests. The testing will be offered on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will close from 12p – 1 p.m. for lunch.

If you are among those who are tested at that site, you should received your results anywhere between 24 to 48-hours.

Additionally, there are two more testing sites now open. St. Stephen, located at 1018 South 15th St, will offer drive-thru testing Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Shively City Hall’s located at 3920 Dixie Highway, will be testing indoors from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 24th, 25th and 26th. Afterwards they will be doing testing every Tuesday and Friday through the end of February.
