Netflix Cutting Back on Standup Comedy Specials Netflix has come to the decision that they will be cutting back on the amount of standup comedy specials. According to the company, they’re taking a more refined approach to their strategy after the standup specials were a big ingredient to attract new subscribers. Last year Netflix streamed more than 50 specials by this time last year, but this year they’ve only put out about 30 specials. Did the standup specials attract you to Netflix?
