The new program ‘Everybody Counts’ is connecting graduating JCPS seniors who do not currently have plans after high school with one of three pathways: a job at one of four participating companies, postsecondary enrollment, or both. The four employers are GE, UPS, Ford and Kroger.

Governor Beshear said, “One of those paths is working with groups to ensure that everyone who is going onto higher education is enrolled and has the financial aid they need. But the other piece is for everybody who is not ready to do that yet. That we have jobs in front of you, interviews, and that you can accept and be ready to start a job before you graduate,”.
