5th Ward Weebie Has Died 5th Ward Jerome Casey, also known as Weebie, the New Orleans rapper, and bounce music pioneer, has died.  The Bounce Music legend had been battling illness and surgery for some time before he passed away.  Weebie’s known for classics like “Let Me Find Out” and “Get Out the Way” as well as a tribute song about Hurricane Katrina.  Weebie also recorded with national acts like Drake and more.
