Spike Lee Calls for Hollywood to “Shut It Down” in Georgia

Oscar-winning director Spike Lee is calling for Hollywood to shut down production in Georgia because of the state’s potential heartbeat law.

While other Hollywood production houses have said they’re going to “wait and see” if the bill passes, Lee said now is the time to “shut things down” and boycott the state.

Georgia’s economy currently gets a $9.5 billion boost from Hollywood doing business in the state.

Do you agree with Spike? Do you think the heartbeat bill will pass in Georgia?
