After receiving criticism for sharing some behind the scenes images of Meghan Markle while the actors’ strike was still in effect, Suits actor Patrick J. Adams is apologizing. This would be completely harmless had it not been for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike… This long waging battle between writers and actors against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers prevents actors from discussing, promoting, or posting any works produced in accordance with the union’s TV and film contracts, which include past works as well.

Adams apologized on his Instagram story, saying; “The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagaftra continues to wage in its effort to win our membership realistic 21st century compensation and protections.”

Suits has seen a surge of popularity since being added to Netflix, and the show has been breaking streaming numbers on the platform. Which is actually hilarious because a lot of the issues at the root of this strike we’re brought about by the effect of streaming services on residuals.

Did you/do you watch Suits? Is this strike messing with your favorite shows?
