Danny Aiello Has Passed Away Actor Danny Aiello has died. He was 86-years-old. Aiello’s family said he passed away Thursday night in a New Jersey medical facility where he was being treated for a sudden illness. Aiello had a small part in The Godfather Part 2. In the 80s, his career took off with roles in Moonstruck, Once Upon A Time In America, Do The Right Thing and Harlem Knights.   Aiello is survived by his wife and four children.  What was your favorite Danny Aiello character?
