The man who caught the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery on video has been arrested for murder. William “Roddie” Bryan Jr., 50, was taken into custody Thursday evening, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. He’s been charged with felony murder and criminal intent to commit false imprisonment, the bureau reports. The arrest — the third in the case — stems from a February 23rd incident in which former police officer Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son, Travis McMichael, 34, confronted Arbery while he was out jogging. The older McMichael claims Arbery was trying to take his son’s shotgun from him when he was shot twice. Arbery’s mother, Wanda Jones, has said, “He was out for his daily jog and he was hunted down like an animal and killed.” Did you suspect Bryan was more involved in Arbery’s murder than he’d previously admitted to?
