The Origins Of President’s Day! Did You Know!?

While the origins of Presidents Day go back nearly 300 years, the holiday itself is a relatively new creation. It all started 292 years go, when George Washington was born on Feb. 22nd, 1732.  It was first celebrated as a holiday in 1832, and declared a federal holiday in Washington D.C. in 1879.
