U.S. Cities With The Worst Traffic

There’s nothing worse than fighting traffic to and from work – and these cities have it the worst.
TomTom has released its annual Traffic Index report, ranking cities by average commute times, congestion, and speed during rush hour.

Unsurprisingly, New York City tops the list with an average commute of 24 minutes, 50 seconds.
Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago rounded out the top five.
The quickest commute? Oklahoma City, OK at just 8 minutes, 40 seconds.
The most congested city in the world? It’s Dublin, Ireland, where motorists spend an average of 153 hours a year stuck in traffic.

Last year, INRIX released its own Global Traffic Scorecard. The results were largely similar and guess where we landed… Louisville ranked 139th in the U.S. and 730th in the entire world.

Sounds like we just don’t know how good we’ve got it, because I know we love to complain!
How long is your commute? What’s the longest commute you’ve ever had?
