- The Super Bowl might be the biggest TV event of the entire year – but inevitably, at some point on Sunday football fans will be asking “Wait – what time does the game start? What channel is it on?” Well, here’s your chance to be prepared ahead of time:
- What time is the Super Bowl? Super Bowl LVIII will kick off at 5:30pm ET on Sunday, with pre-game coverage – including Reba McEntire’s national anthem – beginning at 5pm.
- What channel is it on? The game will broadcast on three different networks this year – the main broadcast is on CBS, and streaming on Paramount+. There will also a be a kid-friendly ‘slime-filled’ broadcast on Nickelodeon, with guest reporters like SpongeBob SquarePants.
- What about Usher’s halftime show? Obviously it depends on how the first half of the game plays out, but typically the halftime show begins sometime between 8pm and 8:15.
